Luther Vallentos

Lush staff member judge for 2016 (each year Lush selects one member of staff to act as an additional independent member of the judging panel)

I graduated with a degree of BS in Biological Sciences at the University of Mindanao in the Philippines, earning units in Masters of Teaching Life Sciences with Botany and Zoology as concentration. I passed the licensure exam for Teachers in the field of Biology.

In Dubai I started my career as a teacher at the Pakistan Education Academy and then ventured into retail before joining Lush Cosmetics. I started as a trainee manager at Lush Mercato in May 2015. From then I fell in love with the brand, the products, people and most of all the ethics and values.

I’m also an advocate in preserving life, been a member of Biology Teachers Association and Paws.

I want to raise awareness in non-animal testing and fighting animal cruelty especially in our country where lack of education is the hindrance to it. This is the essence of Lush Prize.

Recently I was promoted to be a trainee, managing one of our high volume shops in Lush Mena region and I’m proud to have a strong team of dedicated lushie people.

Brian May, CBE, PhD, FRAS is a campaigner for animal rights and a passionate advocate for political and social change.
Troy Seidle

Troy is Director of Research & Toxicology for Humane Society International. He also established and co-managed the European research coordination project “AXLR8”.

Dr Gilly Stoddart is the associate director of the PETA International Science Consortium, Ltd.
