2015 Research Papers
Background papers for each prize category aim to increase awareness of the Lush Prize and ensure nominations, particularly in the Prize’s early years.
Each Paper gives an overview of the various awards with general background of the field, who is active in each area, possible winners who may not otherwise be nominated, and general advice on the future direction of the Prize.

We also published a paper written by science judge Gill Langley asking whether the Prize could be making its first Black Box Award soon for work on skin sensitisation – The Lush Black Box Prize and the skin sensitisation adverse outcome pathway (PDF)
The Papers prepared by Ethical consumer with input from judges and previous winners.
We welcome your comment, criticism, and further suggestions on how they or the Prize itself could be improved in future years.
